 Expose-Inspire-Launch. We are committed to exposing the youngest scientists at the high school, undergraduate, medical/graduate school levels to multidisciplinary approaches to cancer research with the hopes that this exposure will inspire them to launch a career in cancer research. This type of initiative can only occur with the sponsorship of individuals by individuals and foundations dedicated to the catalysis that comes with exposing young trainees to the challenges of cancer medicine. The Walensky Laboratory's Expose-Inspire-Launch (EIL) initiative was catalyzed by the genereous support of Jim and Lisa LaTorre. The LaTorre family's philanthropy sponsors the research experience of motivated students who are entering the cancer laboratory for the first time.
