The Department of Pediatric Oncology, which is part of Dana-Farber/ Children's Hospital Cancer Care, is committed to promoting laboratory research, translational investigations, and clinical studies to better understand and treat childhood cancers.

HThe Department of Cancer Biology is the home of basic science at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. We attack fundamental problems in biology that lead to the problem of human cancer. Our discovery-oriented research has contributed in important ways to the conceptual framework that underlies a new generation of targeted therapies for cancer.

Children's Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology is internationally-known for treating young children and adolescents with all types of cancer and blood disorders.

The overarching mission of the Harvard/Dana-Farber Program in Cancer Chemical Biology (PCCB) is to invent and develop entirely new classes of drugs that are designed by their very molecular structure to address undruggable targets in cancer, i.e., to “drug the undruggable.”

BBS is an interdepartmental program within the Division of Medical Sciences at Harvard Medical School. Through the Division of Medical Sciences, BBS recommends its candidates to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Harvard University for the Ph.D. degree.

The Chemical Biology Graduate Program (Chembio) is a an interdisciplinary program under the Harvard Institute of Life Sciences. The program offers a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology. We are bi-campus, Boston and Cambridge, and allow students to work with faculty in both locations.
