4/15/2008 We've placed a new RAID server into production, RESSRV16. Like our others, this is from Thinkmate, runs Linux (Fedora FC8), has two dual-core AMD Opteron processors (2216-HE).
This particular machine has 8 gigs of RAM and 14 Terabytes of disk space, divided into two RAID6 volumes. The operating system is on a software raid RAID1volume.
